The children look like they are ready for the sprinkler and then something from the grill. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteFYI, this year the fireworks are in several different places instead of Grant Park and the Taste of Chicago. Crowd control was cited as the reason. We have a big parade in our little town that goes on for hours with sirens blasting, cannons firing and horns blowing. That's followed by fireworks at the fairground.
Celebrate and enjoy the cooler temperatures!!

Thanks for visiting -- as for the house across the street from us, it's occupied by a very elderly, housebound lady who is terribly sweet. She called us last Christmas after we put up the big tree in the sunroom, where the table usually sits, to tell us how beautiful it looked, and how much pleasure she got from looking at it.
I left the tree up a couple of extra days for her, and felt badly when I had to take it down.
