more from the off-highway lunch stop

When we detoured for lunch into Beaufort, SC, we enjoyed seeing some lovely old homes,
such as this is a "B and B" on the water front.

I love the 2nd floor porch on the side of this yellow house.

A one-room-wide house (sorry, taken through a car window).

  1. You're in Beaufort? Breakfast at Blackstone's!! Love seeing those homes that I know I've seen before. Our weather, today, is a little like that in the low country. Hope you are having a great time. Did you stop in Charleston?

    Best,
    Bonnie

  2. Beautiful homes, Podso. I think I love the 1st B & B the best. When we visited Charleston, we were going to go into Beaufort and never did. Hopefully next time!

  3. Love the narrow one at the bottom. :) I could live there...and the Spanish moss on the power lines...so cool.

    Have fun! :)

  4. Hi
We stayed at that B&B for our anniversary last year! It was just as beautiful inside. We enjoyed sitting on that wonderful porch and just relaxing. Aren't the houses in that town amazing?

  5. Got a surprise trip to Beaufort for our anniversary last year, and it was such a lovely town. Stayed at Two Suns B&B with a lovely view from a porch swing of the bay and sailboats, Spainsh moss. Walked all over town, taking pictures, but in May it was very hot that day. Hope to go back sometime. Dined al fresco on the waterfront! Just delightful!
