...looking for a metaphor in every corner ...

"I have begun, already, to weigh my words and sentences more than I did and am looking about for a sentiment, an illustration or a metaphor in every corner of the room. Could my ideas flow as fast as the rain in the store closet, it would be charming." Jane Austen to her sister Cassandra, Jan. 24, 1809

I wonder what Jane would have done with a computer. Probably nothing.

Ooooh...what a lovely desk! This is a beautiful piece of furniture!!! Girl, I think that Jane would have loved the computer...she was a pretty innovative girl! Hehe! I know I was thinking about it and was wondering what I did before the computer? I only picked it up in the last 10 yrs....I was so intimidated by it and just never wanted to learn! But going back to college in my 40's...pushed me to learning and using a computer! Now I'm so glad that I did!

Well Darlin'...have a wonderful and safe Labor Day weekend!!!
