There is a hint of fall in the air here in the south, even at this early date. We are thankful. Of course it makes me think of all things fall--traveling in cooler temperatures, making soup, hot drinks, projects around the house, getting out the winter recipes ... all because the cooler air brings energy! Oh, I love autumn - it's my favourite season of all. Cool crisp air, bright colours, wearing cosy sweaters (that hide way more than skimpy summer clothes do - yay!)

Oh, I just got lost in time as I viewed your lovely header. That could have been my kitchen in the 50's in Baldwin, Long Island. The breakfast nook, pricilla curtains and all. Your mosaic is wonderful, a welcoming sight since Fall is my favorite season.
