At first I thought February was a rather quiet month until I looked at photos.
From left to right: The month began with our mentor group and talking
about make ahead freezer meals; we gave them each one to take home.
Then a visit to a friend's farm coincided with welcoming a new nephew.
The snowstorm of the decade, decorated with spring tulips and
rounded out by Valentine's Day.
rounded out by Valentine's Day.
Playing with a new app. A loved one's funeral. And my beloved
Gardener traveling completely around the globe.
He and I were both happy and thankful
when he was home-sweet-home.
That was quite a journey for you both. It's not easy being the one at home waiting for a loved one to return. Your collage is beautiful...
ReplyDeleteA quiet month? Glad all was well in the end.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Wow if that was a quiet month, your busy ones must be whirlwinds!
ReplyDeleteOne of the bonuses of blogging - looking back to see all that happened.
ReplyDeleteHave a Merry March.
Your February ,the month of hearts,
ReplyDeletewas filled to brim with special heartfelt goodness.
I treasure your comments!!!

You had a very special month. I like your waterlogue pics. I got the app on my iPhone now and have tried it on a couple. Will have to take some pics indoors here and try them. Happy March to you.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was quite an eventful February for you. I like the app you are using for watercolor. Are those blue and white egg cups? They're beautiful, and I especially like them with the app applied! Lovely collage.
ReplyDeleteThat is what I love about gathering the moments of a month! It gives me an overview...and a perspective that I may not have if I didn't pause to reflect.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing the wonderful photos in your collage, and remember many of those moments as you shared them through your blog. Glad to know that your dear husband is home again after his circumnavigation of the globe! :)
Thanks for linking up!
I felt the same way about my February! It seems being stuck in the house for a few days can make the month feel like that's all it was. Your photos are great. Am still in love with the watercolor effect. Where was that last photo taken "around the globe"? The Gardener should be a guest on your Blog and tell us about his adventures!
ReplyDeleteIt seemed like quite a busy month for you, Dotsoe! I'm glad your husband is home safe and sound, and I hope the stormy weather has passed and spring is on it's way there soon :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful watercolor. I must find that APP or whatever.
ReplyDeleteEven quiet months are filled with memories and moments, difficulties and challenges. Looking back helps me to gain perspective on all of it. Beautiful photos of your month.
ReplyDeleteI just love the picture of the new baby's head. These monthly reflections are great! (visiting from Thinking About Home)
ReplyDeletePodso,
ReplyDeleteA lot of action packed into such a short month, dear friend!!!
Loved seeing the photos of all your happenings!!!
March is roaring here on the Prairie tonight. . .19 degrees and sleeting!!!
Stay close to the fire and the Gardener!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Funny how the photos can show things we forgot we even did. Glad your hubby is back home and you can now start a photo journey for March.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that he is home safe and sound with you now too!
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing all the bits and pieces!

Loved your pictures. I've been looking around your blog and saw the posts about the waterlogue app and downloaded it. I love it. There are so many ideas bouncing around my head.
ReplyDeleteA lovely mosaic, sharing your month of February..Looks like a busy month, glad you hubby is home. The snowstorm was a biggie for us too. I am hoping March will be warmer. Have a happy week ahead!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful mosaic and you know I love your watercolor! It's fun to look back at a month and see everything that's happened! Enjoy your evening my friend!
ReplyDeleteFeb. was indeed quite busy for you.
ReplyDeleteIt was quite around our place....We are glad to see March and hoping for a little warmer weather....
I love how you made your mosaic, very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou did have a busy February. The month seemed to go quicker than January for some reason to me. I enjoyed your photos. Valerie
ReplyDeleteGreat mosaic!!! Have a wonderful week!!! Wising that March had started just a bit better here! Have a grand week! Cathy
ReplyDeleteWow, what a busy month. Sorry to read about your loss of a loved one. I have also playing with that new app, love it.
ReplyDeleteHey, I had that feeling too till I looked back on Feb and thought whoa Nelly! So sorry for your loss; we had a friend pass away as well, but he lived to the ripe old age of 100 and had a lovely, lovely life. Are you enjoying the watercolour app? So many of my friends are too. I must say that some of the photos look better than my watercolour paintings...lol.
ReplyDeleteFebruary is a month that all but escapes me...it is not only due to it being 28 days... 28 days in any other month, does not seem to flee as quickly, now how is that possible ;)
ReplyDeleteYour February month looks so serene and lovely thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sue
