February Finish

At first I thought February was a rather quiet month until I looked at photos.
From left to right: The month began with our mentor group and talking
about make ahead freezer meals; we gave them each one to take home.
Then a visit to a friend's farm coincided with welcoming a new nephew.
The snowstorm of the decade, decorated with spring tulips and
rounded out by Valentine's Day.
Playing with a new app. A loved one's funeral. And my beloved
Gardener traveling completely around the globe.
He and I were both happy and thankful
when he was home-sweet-home.

  1. That was quite a journey for you both. It's not easy being the one at home waiting for a loved one to return. Your collage is beautiful...

  7. Looks like it was quite an eventful February for you. I like the app you are using for watercolor. Are those blue and white egg cups? They're beautiful, and I especially like them with the app applied! Lovely collage.

  8. That is what I love about gathering the moments of a month! It gives me an overview...and a perspective that I may not have if I didn't pause to reflect.

I enjoyed seeing the wonderful photos in your collage, and remember many of those moments as you shared them through your blog. Glad to know that your dear husband is home again after his circumnavigation of the globe! :)

    Thanks for linking up!

  9. I felt the same way about my February! It seems being stuck in the house for a few days can make the month feel like that's all it was. Your photos are great. Am still in love with the watercolor effect. Where was that last photo taken "around the globe"? The Gardener should be a guest on your Blog and tell us about his adventures!

  25. Hey, I had that feeling too till I looked back on Feb and thought whoa Nelly! So sorry for your loss; we had a friend pass away as well, but he lived to the ripe old age of 100 and had a lovely, lovely life. Are you enjoying the watercolour app? So many of my friends are too. I must say that some of the photos look better than my watercolour paintings...lol.
