The Gardener and I went to the Southern Spring Show a
few weeks ago. It had been years since I had gone to one.
So many fresh ideas and new technology.
We saw old windows repurposed in many ways.
It was amazing to me all the work for just a few days of the show.
The main display room was black with artificial lighting so photos were hard to take.
This is the backside of the potting shed two photos up.
Award winning outdoor fireplace and patio space.
No artificial flowers that I could see.
Part II will be coming . . .
These shows are inspiring, aren't they? If you can come away with one idea to use, it was worth attending.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I want to live in that first photo. (I think I said something similar about your backyard too!) :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, I need to go to one! This year especially! I need to see some green growing things!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I'll look forward to seeing part II.

Oh what fun. I love garden shows, and home tours. Garden tours, and the like. So inspiring!
ReplyDeleteBeen absent lately.... Very busy with my Mom. But a good busy. She is doing fabulously!!!

Garden Shows are lovely to attend in Spring. They always make me itch to get in my garden, but it's always too early to do much! I really have to wait until late April/early May to put anything new in the garden.
ReplyDeleteGarden shows are so inspiring. I marvel at the creativity shown in the displays. What a fun way to spend some time.
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing about the amount of work. Our garden show lasted two days...all that work for two days! That patio fireplace is amazing!
ReplyDeleteWas this all inside a building? I love going anyplace where there is lots and lots of flowers and plants and green stuff. :) Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteI am always amazed at the work that goes into setting up for garden shows.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the chalkboard walls.
There are so many interesting ideas at these type of shows. I love the garden shed with the repurposed windows and that outdoor fireplace is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis all looks amazing to me as I am so garden-challenged! (I have a black thumb and I have difficulty visualizing a landscape design.)
ReplyDeleteI'll bet it was fun to see all spring color! Spring has been slow in coming this year...
Garden shows are fun to attend--so many ideas and new products to see! I'm sure you will be planting in your garden very soon!
ReplyDeleteYou are right; there was a LOT of work in this garden show! I love the diagonal lines of those path pavers in the first photo!!! I'll be looking forward to the second installment of photos. blessings ~ tanna
