It seems especially quiet after a busy weekend of family filling the house.
I often find reminders of the little ones who were here, and
I love to guess just what their little minds were thinking as they played.
For instance, why this zebra in such an elevated place of honor?
I think he belongs back in Noah's ark!
Smiling!
What a sweet reminder of your weekend visitors. :) Blessings for a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteI think that looks like the perfect spot to stay dry and away from all those other animals!! Sweet memories to store until the next visit.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
What a fun find! I'm sure they love being at your house.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, that made me laugh! Always fun to find the children's trails. Hope that you settle down to enjoy the quiet.
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable. I'd be hard-pressed to put it away. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm smiling too!
ReplyDeleteSmiling here. I found my measuring spoons on the television console - our little granddaughter thinks they are keys.
ReplyDeleteLove this! I remember my Mum saying "one day you'll wish that sugar daddy was stuck to you table again!"
ReplyDeleteHope that you are enjoying your new found freedom!

ReplyDeleteSame kind of thing happens round here where our Grans are gone too.
This summer I left their toys strewn all over the basement for WEEKS after they left - - - partly out of laziness and partly just for the fun of it and the reminders.
Oh how adorable, finding the zebra under the table. When I was in college, my first nephew was born, and I was LOOPY over him. One day, when he was two, he left big sticky handprints all over the mirror on the back of my bedroom door -- I never cleaned them off!
ReplyDeleteMy Mom cleaned them I guess when they sold that house!
What fun you must have had with the little ones.
Cass
Too cute...and what a nice surprise to see him down there...that would so make a child giggle
ReplyDeletePodso,
ReplyDeleteHm~m~m. . .perhaps a budding resident decorator??? Love the creativity of that little ones mind!
Fondly,
Pat
Very sweet, I always enjoyed seeing what they had left behind and where, too. I miss my youngest grands, we are going to go see them at the end of this month.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Cindy
LOL! That is a sweet surprise to find!
