Sometimes when life is stressful and busy, a little diversion brings respite ... even if it is just taking a photo of each side of my button jar while taking a break at my desk. I do love color, and there's a bunch here. And I admit I'd much rather photograph buttons than actually sew one on a garment.

The colours are lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis afternoon I visited an antique store and found three Ball jars full of colourful buttons. I didn't, in the end, buy them, but it was fun to shake them up and watch the colours mix up.
The button colors are so bright and beautiful. What a creative idea for Mosaic Monday!
ReplyDeleteI love buttons. Great post.

I love buttons, too. I have a jar of buttons that my Mother had and I enjoy looking at them, trying to remember what they came off of! Every now and then I even use one! Fun post.

ReplyDeleteYou have a very colorful collection of buttons! I bet you have little girls who've lost them from their clothing? My button jar is full of my husband's greys, browns and navy blues.

ReplyDeleteMy mother had a button tin. When we were sick, she'd bring out the button tin and we'd sit on the bed and play with the buttons, sorting them by colors, by those we liked/didn't like, etc. I still can't figure out why the button tin was such a treat, but it was!
ReplyDeleteFun post & I LOVE the mosaic!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy one,
