spring fling

If I post a "tablescape" it's usually for real when guests are coming.
Today I just felt like setting a place. Green is so easy on the eyes, and pink is plain fun.
This reminds me of little worksheets I used to make for my kids asking, "What's different?"
I just realized, also, that the forks don't match. :-)
Can anyone guess a secret about these eggs?

  2. I don't think I can, but they sure are pretty all lined up that way in their egg cups. The pink and green combinations for your tablescape are wonderful. I have pink; I have green; I think I'll copy you for an Easter dinner tablescape. Thanks!

  3. I like pink and green together. I love your pink depression glass. I have some in both pink and green and use them together on occasion.

Hmm, the eggs. At first I was going to say they are wooden but they seem to have those little imperfections that real eggs have. I have no idea. Only Keetha and you know the secret for now. I'll be up early in the morning to find out!!

    Best,
    Bonnie

  8. Hi Dotsie
Your pink and green tablescape is pretty, I like the personal salt and pepper shakers.
The eggs - I'm thinking they could be duck eggs because they're so long?

  24. Oh so your eggs are chalk! I'd never have guessed...but they sure are pretty.

I'd love to read all of your 'Africa' posts....I found one by using your search bar....and read the one about taking your baby to the field and left a comment. I'll try that again and see if I can find another. I think I've always been one of the people that were afraid to go to Africa....and yet, by God's grace, you lived through that and came to love it. I want to have that care of God in my life too.....if you know what I mean. I'm getting pretty sleepy here...lol.

  25. Without reading any comments, I'd say your eggs are made of chalk. Do I win??? ;)

  27. Hi Dotsie...

Your spring table place setting is beautiful, my friend! Pink and green is one of my "all time" favorite color combinations! Isn't it fun playing with dishes...and all the different things that you can do with them? Hehe! I still feel like a little girl at times...while playing with my dishes. I know it's a bit frivilous but I enjoy it the same!

I love, love, LOVE your photo of all the egg cups filled with pretty pastel eggs! LOVELY!!! Hmmm...I have no idea what "secret" lies within the pretty eggs. I do hope that you'll tell us!

Well dear friend, I just wanted to come by to say hello and to wish you and your family a Happy Easter or as we like to say here at my place...Happy Ressurection Day!

    Love ya,
    Chari

PS...thank you for coming by and leaving such a sweet note, dear friend! You always make my day!
