I think it's fun to think of a pack of eight note cards ... with each one being different.
The only problem with that is that it can be hard to choose which card to send to someone.
When I get a gift of a pack of pretty notecards, there are times when
I'd just rather frame each one of them!
I've written many a note card over the years ... back when we wrote letters, writing cards were
faster as they were a bit shorter to write, and added the fun of a picture.
Kind of like how writing a blog post seems more interesting when a photo is included!

ReplyDeleteYep, just the other day hubs was taking out of a box great postcards we've received from family and friends from trips, etc. They were wonderful and the Xmas ones, so pretty! Such yummy pie too, I'd love it with a cuppa coffee. Now, who is that Littlest One?

I have a massive collection of note cards. I seem to pick them up everywhere I go. Some I think are too pretty to use...but then I snap out of it, and realize....it will be a joy to receive for someone.

ReplyDeleteOh so sweet... I like the first best. There is something pretty cool about a set of note cards...I see you subtly trying to sneak in the concept of eight. =D
ReplyDeleteOh, the first one is definitely my favorite. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI agree, a photo makes it all more interesting.
These would make a very nice set of note cards. Each one evokes a different emotion, but there is something especially precious about the first one. What a sweet little girl.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone that photo #1 is my favorite! Who can resist a photo of a pretty baby? Nice selection, Dotsie!
ReplyDeleteYes, so glad you included a pie! I thought about doing food photos, but decided against it - having second thoughts now. :)

ReplyDeleteStopping by from Vee's party
An eight pack of note cards ... oh, there was always an image I didn't care for though. Like tracks on a record, there was always some filler thrown in there. But each of your note cards takes me somewhere I enjoy, all sweet images. I can't stop imagining what's just around the bend on the second photo ... I'm sure it is a lovely place. Thanks for sharing.

i really love the 1st & 2nd note card photos. the little one is just precious. the country green road is just so peaceful & quiet. (:
ReplyDeleteYour photos make me feel as though I've traveled down a shady lane with the sound of children's laughter, to meet a friend for coffee and dessert!
ReplyDeleteOh, pass a piece of that tarte please...it looks sooo good!!
ReplyDeleteI agree, the tart looks delicious! Beautiful baby, too :)
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean about wanting to frame your cards. In fact I did frame 6 Mary Engle. cards and they are hanging in the kitchen in their red frames. Cheery!
ReplyDeleteYour baby girl is sooo sweet, and I see you have Fiesta-ware....don't we love it's cheerful colors and sturdiness. And the way the plates can be used as lids for many of the bowls. As if it was planned that way after all. Wishing you a happy day...Maggie
Love your postcards - all share a wonderful part of what's going on at your house, Dotsie!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Zuzu
Very nice photos, they are each so interesting in their own unique way.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Cindy
Each of those cards would say something special in its own way
ReplyDelete"I miss our cups of tea together"
"Stay on track - it gets better"
"You're a sweetie pie"
I love your cards!
You can't get any better than the first one!
