card party

I think it's fun to think of a pack of eight note cards ... with each one being different.
The only problem with that is that it can be hard to choose which card to send to someone.
When I get a gift of a pack of pretty notecards, there are times when
I'd just rather frame each one of them!
I've written many a note card over the years ... back when we wrote letters, writing cards were
faster as they were a bit shorter to write, and added the fun of a picture.
Kind of like how writing a blog post seems more interesting when a photo is included!

  7. I have a massive collection of note cards. I seem to pick them up everywhere I go. Some I think are too pretty to use...but then I snap out of it, and realize....it will be a joy to receive for someone.

  18. These would make a very nice set of note cards. Each one evokes a different emotion, but there is something especially precious about the first one. What a sweet little girl.

An eight pack of note cards ... oh, there was always an image I didn't care for though. Like tracks on a record, there was always some filler thrown in there. But each of your note cards takes me somewhere I enjoy, all sweet images. I can't stop imagining what's just around the bend on the second photo ... I'm sure it is a lovely place. Thanks for sharing.

  31. I know just what you mean about wanting to frame your cards. In fact I did frame 6 Mary Engle. cards and they are hanging in the kitchen in their red frames. Cheery!

Your baby girl is sooo sweet, and I see you have Fiesta-ware....don't we love it's cheerful colors and sturdiness. And the way the plates can be used as lids for many of the bowls. As if it was planned that way after all. Wishing you a happy day...Maggie

  34. Each of those cards would say something special in its own way
"I miss our cups of tea together"
"Stay on track - it gets better"
    "You're a sweetie pie"
    I love your cards!
