naps

I've had this clipped picture from Country Home magazine on my frig for a long time. It's a place
I would love to curl up to read a book or take a nap. So looking at it gives me a sense of peace.

A nap here would be great too--clipped from Country Living magazine...I can just
feel the warm breeze coming through the window and hear the birds chirping in the trees!

  1. Oh that top bed looks EXACTLY like the beds of two children in a little Scandinavian story I read as a child!

And I love a good nap anytime.

  2. I would love to curl up with a book and a cup of tea on either location. I love the second one, so bright, airy and peaceful. Take care:)

  3. I'll take room no. 2 please. And, if I may, a glass of lemonade with a sprig of mint and a copy of Jane Eyre to read again before seeing the movie.

Hope you have a good trip to my birthplace. Sorry, the family home isn't open to the public = ) !!

    Best,
    Bonnie

  5. Good morning! Your rooms call to me also...yet again, this proves our similar tastes....I had a post ready to go but was wondering if I should really post it; after visiting here and reading yours I just did!

    Have a wonderful week.

  6. Funny, I have a photo of a cupboard-style bed clipped from long ago - it's a dream of mine. Both those photos you've clipped make me wish to snuggle in for a nice nap too.

  7. Podso,
Reminded me of an apartment my sister once rented. . .she had the sleeping porch for her bedroom. Oh, how I loved visiting her and dreamed of sleeping in that bedroom. Thanks for a special memory from my youth!
    Fondly,
    Pat

  9. I could go for a nap at any time. Both of those look like great places to curl up in. The first one reminds me of a bunk on a train.
