Rhondi is having a "porch party" today and since I love porches, I just had to join in.

I grew up in a house with a screen porch, but it wasn't until three years ago, through a friend's generosity, that we were able to have a porch on our own house.
We enjoy our porch so much and not a day goes by that I don't stop and think about how blessed we are.
Even when it's dreadfully hot and humid we can manage to sit out at least in the evening and early morning.
Of course the friends that join us on our porch are the best part of it all!
Also joining with Little Red House for Mosaic Mondays!
Lovely porch...and I like the cute little statue with watering can.
ReplyDeleteLove the couch and that chair, OMG is that too cute! Pretty view out there as well!
ReplyDeleteCindy
I love your screened porch and will be wishing mine was screened when the mosquitoes start eating us alive.
ReplyDeleteIf you find that rooster chair missing don't come looking here!
Lovely porch and how nice to share with friends. I'd love a covered porch ... not enough room! Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteI am envious of your screened porch Podso. There have been many times that I've wished we had a porch of any sort...but out the front.
ReplyDeleteWe spend way too much time in the back when we could be out talking to neighbours and inviting them to sit and join us.

I love your porch and it is wonderful to have it screened in. A great place to have friends over and have a good time. Beautiful photos and mosaic!
ReplyDeleteA screened in porch has always been a dream of mine and WOW yours is a dream. How great!!! Good job

Screened in porches are the best. We spend many summer evenings on ours. Yours looks like a wonderful place for family and friends.
ReplyDeleteYour screened porch looks like a wonderful place to relax on a nice summer day, Podso! I wish I had one on my home.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mosaic Monday!
PS Where did you go to school in NYC?
So very nice. Looks so calm and relaxing there! Have a great evening.

You are very fortunate to have that lovely screened in porch. Makes it nice to sit with out mosquitoes.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, you're really lucky to have this type of porch. I can't tell if there are glass windows- can you use it all three-seasons, or is it heated? It looks pretty roomy with all that furniture in it!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have ANY kind of porch where I could set out some furniture and sit and relax. Maybe next house, because the one I'm in just won't facilitate us adding one on.
Thanks for sharing yours with us, Podso.
:-) Sue
Enclosed porches are so heavenly... wish mine was screened in this time of the year.

My favorite part of your porch is that there is enough room to hold a table. I can just imagine its convenience for partaking in an early morning cup of coffee or tea or a small luncheon with friends.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a perfect spot to be. We have a deck but not a covered porch. I would like that I think.
ReplyDeleteOf course friends are the best part.
Where do I start? I love everything about your porch, and that cute painted chair is making my heart flutter. Love the table and how you have it set, and I love that you showed your friends enjoying your hospitality. I just wish I could sit out there and visit with you. It looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHappy Porch Party, Podso...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Yes, I grew up in a house with the screened in back porch. We ate supper out there a lot in the summer. We had an old glider out there too. Aww, good memories.
ReplyDeleteWould love to have a screened in porch! Yours is terrific. You are indeed very lucky.

A screened in porch is a wonderful place to spend time. We use ours all the time. Thanks for sharing your beautiful porch. ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteI would love to screen our deck! Great mosaics!
ReplyDeleteAhh, screened porches remind me of growing up. We would have sleepovers on my aunt's old farmhouse screened porch. How enchanting. Fun to see your friends too.
ReplyDeletei love a screened porch with a glass of iced tea. We had one in our former house but had to sell it with the house!
ReplyDeleteGreat mosaic.
What a lovely place to sit and relax!I bet you have had some wonderful gatherings in there! Thanks for the virtual tour of your lovely porch area.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a great week,
Natasha.
You have done a wonderful job making your porch look warm and comfortable. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSandy
I love a front porch from which to watch the neighborhood or just enjoy the quiet. My favorite childhood memory is sitting in a huge (well, I was little) wicker rocker on the front porch. There was always a stack of books to be read and bottomless glasses of lemonade.
ReplyDeleteNice memory!
Best,
Bonnie
Your porch is great. It looks so inviting and comfortable and I love that it's screened. Wish ours was! You are right about it being the friends that make it special.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Rhondi
Your porch is charming! Such a lovely place to spend time with friends!
