You know how you feel a little good inside when you see something in a magazine
such as CntryLvng...something that also happens to be in your house?
Well this little iron bunny belongs to my sister .... and looks
like he or she came right off this page in March's CL.
To be cool like the others, Bunny just needs a few more knicks or
bruises--you know, the stuff life is made of.
Yes, the bunny needs to show that he/she has lived a little. It also reminds me that I have a cute little bunny that hasn't hopped out yet. Maybe I'll find more than one?? = )

Dotsie,
ReplyDeleteI have almost the same bunny - not sure where...I will have to hunt and let him out for a few days.
Happy Easter.

How fun is this? Love the bunny - I have several in our tiny cottage, but none this famous. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you,
Zuzu
Like the Velveteen Rabbit!! A few more bumps and bruises. That is one of my all time favorite stories! Hope you and yours have a wonderful Easter, Dotsie! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteYes, you are right...I love it when I see something that I have in a magazine that I love. It validates your good taste...or in this case your sisters good taste...not that any of us need validation.
ReplyDeleteThe bunny used to have nicks and scratches just like the one in the picture, but his little feet being near the kitchen sink got all rusty, so had to paint him. Liked him better before!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's the nicks that make us who we are. Loved you post below - sometimes it's great to be invisible.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Sweet Friend!

Took a break from studying to catch up on your posts. Love this one. Hmm. How to inject the stuff life is made of...
ReplyDeleteGreat last sentence! It made me smile.
