the dogs

The dogwoods are about done with their blossom show here,
but our new little dogwood seems a bit behind.
And we have longer to enjoy.

  1. Ours are just fully opening today! So much more is greening up now. I'm taking my camera with me this afternoon for our drive into town. This may be the last chance I have to capture the various greens I see every time we go out and say "I wish I brought my camera with me!"

  3. Our Dogwoods are a little later than yours, but I noticed many of them blooming on the mainland earlier this week. We won't be far behind.

  5. That is sweet to have the dogwood season extended. They must brighten dark corners beautifully.

  8. Dogwoods are a pleasing group of shrubs and trees. I have a pagoda dogwood that I love for the tiered structure.

  20. We don't really get dogwoods over here. Your photos are lovely. I like that there are little brown spots, which give us a feeling for their season being almost run. Hope you have a super week. Bonny
