Our sweet mentor girls ("mentees") gave each of us individual gifts that showed they had
gotten to know us. Part of that was because they were in each of our homes more than once
over the two years and learned our styles. In my gift bag was this interesting item. At first I
thought it was a decoration for my non-existent pony tail, or a bracelet.
It's a little jacket for a vase. I first tried it on a mason jar as I use them so much for flowers now.
It appears to be reversible. They knew I love denim, lace, and blue!
I think I like it better on a real vase. It's pretty cute.
What do you think? Have you ever seen one before?
This is something new to me Dotsie but I think it's cute. It would be sweet on a mason jar especially if made of denim or burlap or gingham. What a thoughtful gesture.
ReplyDeleteThis is entirely new to me, too. It IS very cute. Beautiful flowers, too. My peonies are just tiny little buds so far. I looked at the pictures of my garden from two years ago today and was amazed how much more was in bloom than this year.
ReplyDeleteNo, this is a first. It is cute as can be. I really like it.
ReplyDeleteI second what Vee said. I've never seen it but it is so cute!
ReplyDeleteVery thoughtful!
Deanna
A thoughtful gift, and I wouldn't have known what it was either.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, our peonies are still spikes poking out of the ground. :-)
I've never seen one either! It looks as if they have been well taught!
ReplyDeleteNever before seen one but it's adorable :)
ReplyDeleteNew to me, but very cute! How sweet that she made that for you!
ReplyDeleteHow cute!
ReplyDeleteI think it will look cute on either the ball jars or a real vase.
I like it better on the vase too, but its pretty nifty. I've never seen one before. Think of the fabric possibilities. Possible misspells here. I'm slipping!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet, thoughtful gift! Never seen one before. '
ReplyDeleteYou refer to the group regularly. I'll have to go back and see if I can find more about it. A wonderful blessing for the girls, and the mentors, too, I suspect!
This is a new idea that I've never seen before, Dotsie, but it is a nice way to dress up a vase. Very sweet!
ReplyDeletePodso,
ReplyDeletePrecious!!!
Priceless!!!
Never, ever have I see anything quite like it. . .and it is charming, dear friend!!!
A very thoughtful gift, indeed!
Fondly,
Pat
Dotsie, I think this is darling and ever so thoughtful of your "mentee." I've never seen one, but I love it! I, too, like to use mason jars for fresh flowers (your peonies are lovely). I just left a comment on your previous post about this wonderful mentoring group that you're a part of. Enjoy your little vase "decor." :)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Denise
I've not seen one before but it is pretty darn cute. Anything to dress up a plain vase or jar is perfect. Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteSomething new indeed. I've never seen one of these before. I too like it best on the vase. Very clever.
ReplyDeleteIt's new to me and looks cute either way. Even if it was around a short, shallow bowl filled with blooms! Very sweet idea!
