'Tis the season for end of year recitals. We were entertained by great music and
sweet little ballerinas bopping to the music. Some were downright
tiny and trying hard to figure out what to do next.
Cellphone pics while trying to hold motion-filled children in a dark
theater are fuzzy at best. You understand.
After the show patient siblings sprang to life and got rid of their wiggles.
Run like the wind, they did, mesmerized by stepping "stones" and a mosaic mirror.
Joining Mosaic Monday.
Podso,
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable!!!

SO SWEET!!!!
ReplyDeleteA memory keeper of your sweet ballerina. They are beautiful little girls.. Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteI agree...Thank Heaven for little girls! All of that cuteness and energy...it's delightful! Enjoy your holiday weekend! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteThey're so cute at that age looking sweet and trying to remember their dance steps. We are attending a recital this Saturday to see our granddaughter do her hip hop routine. This is one form of dance I've come to love as it's done to such imaginative choreography.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Monday holiday.
I look forward to the return of dance recitals and 'girly' occasions in our life - it seems a long time since our Lillypad was tiny. Two little granddaughters bring the promise of tutus and ribbons!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I think I see your ballerina. Love the little one crouching. I'm sure that there were lots of chuckles.
ReplyDeleteI remember recitals so well! Yes, my daughter returned to dance class several years ago and my sister decided to take up tap dancing. I kid you not! I've got the dents in the floor to prove it. LOL!
It's been years, but the dance recitals in June were always a favorite of mine. My daughter danced for 10 years.
ReplyDeleteThe little girls look so sweet!
Oh the little ballerina's are so sweet Dotsie.
ReplyDeleteLovely mosaics.
Two of my grandies will have their ballet recital in a couple of weeks - sadly I will miss it this time.
How adorable and sweet.I love those little ballerina's, so cute that tiny one.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Little ballerinas -- precious. Everyone gets to stretch after the recital. Wonderful memories!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet! Little girls in tutus are so adorable!

Just adorable....
ReplyDeleteI love that your Mosaic Monday actually has a mosaic in it! I only took one year of ballet/tap when I was 7 or 8 because I refused to be a part of the recital. My mother thought I was afraid to get up in front of people, but the real problem was I didn't like the outfit she picked out for me to wear. I can't remember whether or not I explained that to her. And I can't remember now whether I wasn't allowed to take another year, or whether I just wasn't interested. I do remember being so proud of myself once I finally was able to do the splits!
ReplyDeleteHow precious. You are so blessed to be able to take part in these events with your grands. :)
ReplyDeleteIs there anything sweeter than a stage of little girls and twirls and tulle? Not much! I know you had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteI love watching tiny ballerinas! Thye are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE going to dance recitals - especially love the "littles"
ReplyDeleteHope all is well my friend!
Leann
