I thought to add a little decoration on these cards, starting with this first one needing to be transformed into a rectangular shape. Didn't want to spend the extra postage required for a square card in the mail!
If I had time. I would love to write "just a note" to friends before the holidays. I remember
card stock note paper we used to have that folded into it's own envelope and was called "just a note."

… the box cover ...
Oh, I like the little design along the edge of your photos. They are all beautiful. I remember getting Current cards through the mail years ago that you wrote on and then folded and put a sticker to close.(all one piece of paper) They were pretty. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! And so Thanksgivingey. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall scenes.
ReplyDeleteClever gal! I love mosaic cards. One pays extra postage for a square envelope? I didn't know that! Your images are so perfectly November. Love them and I like the added bit where you could add the "Just a Note."
ReplyDeletePretty pics! That quiche in the first one looks really good:@)
ReplyDeletePretty pics - those bushes look artificial they're so perfect!
ReplyDelete"Just a Notes," loved those. Haven't seen them in years - prolly b/c no o ne ever seems to send notes anymore, how sad. Even the kids aren't being taught how to read or write Cursive - can you imagine there will be a time in the not too distant future whose people won't be able to read great grandmother's love letters, or the Declaration of Independance? TRAGIC, that.
Anyway, Happy Card Day!!
I'd love to get one of your just a note cards. The images just say fall to me.

A very pretty set of seasonal cards Dotsi.
ReplyDeleteI would really be in to Thanksgiving too - sadly we don't have it in the Colonies!
I love the sound of that folded card/envelope - ingenious - let me know if you find them!

These are beautiful Dotsie. I like the addition of the paper banding. They are a lovely fall theme. Pam
ReplyDeleteVery nice edges on your photos! I need to start experimenting more. Blessings...
ReplyDeleteVery pretty...I like the mosaic. These colors are just beautiful!

Beautiful, beautiful cards, Podso! I love the contrasting print on them too. Lovely images of the season!
ReplyDeleteYou are very smart to create rectangular cards...not only will we save on postage, the pretty fall patterns are a lovely addition! (I never understood why a square envelope would require extra postage anyway, as long as the width -- or length! -- fit in the sorting machine.)
ReplyDeleteI love the mosaic with all those tempting goodies, and the park bench is beckoning.
What clever cards you have made....they are all just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely notecards! Very autumnal. I adore the mosaics.
ReplyDeleteYour note cards are all delightful Dotsie, and I like the decorative edges you added.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of this beautiful time of year. The bench among all the leaves is really striking. Great idea to put the edges on the photos - they add a little bit extra.
ReplyDeleteI really wonder how you placed the trim alongside your photos…it's a great idea! the cards are all nice but the bench photo is my favourite!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! They look really great and I love your box top!

ReplyDeleteGreat fall shots! I love the bench.
ReplyDeleteLovely, milady - and your little side bar designs are particularly inspiring to me as I am just now branching into more digital image remolding. Now - to figure out how to do it in my new programs! Happy to be posting again in such a fun and visually inspiring link-up.

That's a great idea to add paper designs to get a rectangular shape! And I didn't know that it cost extra to send a square note card. Pbbbttt to that! And yes, I remember the "just a note" stationary.
ReplyDeleteYou seasonal photos are lovely! Great set.
Such beautiful note cards, Dotsie! I've never understood why square things should be more than rectangular things. But, I like those borders! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteWhat a great set of seasonal photos. I too like the addition of the edge designs, and yes I remember the note paper that formed its own envelopes. Such a shame that we have gotten away from hand-written notes...
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. Beautiful cards and so well arranged.
ReplyDeletePerfect colors for the season! Very well done. I also love the header, very artistic.
