These colorful glass containers have adorned our bathroom windows for quite some time.
If you look closely in this top image, you can see where they came from.
With the installation of a new window we have a narrower sash and no room for my ladies.
I've found the light still reflects on them in their new second-choice position.
It's not bad at all down on the counter.
How like life.
When the punches come, we adjust, and often it can turn out to be
just as good, or even better than the original plan.
Joining Mary's Little Red House for mosaics on Monday.
What a great color combo...my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThose are primarily the colors that I have in glass in my kitchen windows--just different shapes!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Those a very pretty with beautiful color! Happy to see they look lovely in their new place :)
ReplyDeleteI love these colours together (my favourites). They are really quite beautiful and it's too bad the sill is too narrow for them. I imagine the light shining through them must be gorgeous. It's nice that they still get some reflection from the window against the white countertop. Lovely mosaic too!
ReplyDeleteGlad that you have found a new home for them. It is true that one change often is responsible for many others.
ReplyDeleteI love glass bottles in windows and these are such a beautiful color. This is the next best place and they do get s lot of light here.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
They're all pretty colours and look nice where you have them now. The only window sill I have is one hubby made me over the kitchen sink. Cutbacks in new homes I guess.

Those are beautiful! I have a bathroom window that has a wide ledge and lots of sunlight. Tomorrow Goodwill here I come, looking for beautiful glass bottles!
ReplyDeleteThat color green is beautiful .I have colored glass in my windows too. Smiles, Dottie
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty. And you are right about changes...it is all about accepting His plan.
ReplyDeleteI love your glasses they look great in their new home but why do we end up with smaller window sashes when windows are replaced? I love line things by windows too. Have a great weekend, Laura
ReplyDeleteI love the gorgeous colors on your bottles! Your bathroom is soo shiny the reflections are terrific.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday!

They are so pretty - I'm glad you were able to find another place for them - perhaps even better! That's how I believe things happen in life - when something doesn't turn out as you'd hoped, look for the gift in the 'new' view!
ReplyDeleteLovely glass colors and beautiful mosaic photo ~ ^_^
ReplyDeleteThese look like bottles I would choose...I love these colors. We have nice deep window sills but some of our windows have blinds. You've found a way to keep enjoying these! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteI see now that the blue walls have some texturing. They sure look pretty with the bright white and the pretty bottles!
ReplyDeleteI love colored glass in the window but window sills do seem to be too narrow. I had my hubby build the sill in the kitchen deeper so I could display glass and African Violets.
ReplyDeleteBlues and greens are some of my favourite colours. Your glass containers are so pretty, and, as you've said, will reflect the light elsewhere. Adjustment - isn't that what a lot of life is made of?
ReplyDeleteHoping you are doing well. Have a great week, Dotsie.
Thye are very pretty vases, and look very nice in their new spot.
ReplyDeleteMy new home has very narrow window sills, which is the complete opposite of my former home. I have to find new places to put plants and other decorations. It's a challenge!
I love the pretty blues and greens. Looks like you found a great spot for your colorful glass containers. Have a happy week ahead!
ReplyDeleteLove this color, and the containers are really pretty. Makes a lovely mosaic. Happy Spring.
