I'm yearning to catch spring up in our city again this season.
Unfortunately for the first time in my life I find myself with an allergic reaction to our
abundance of pollen. Apologies for the low resolution of these photos, but that's what
happen when you pull them off an old post to work with them.

Thanks to Vee for hosting this fun card party every month.
And oh yes, if you use cards of this shape (the top three--square)
don't forget you need extra postage.
Did you hear that the canceling of Saturday mail has been canceled?

ReplyDeletePodso,
ReplyDeleteLove your choice of subject matter for your Note Cards!!!
So~o~o sorry that you're dealing with Seasonal allergies, dear friend!!!
A cup 'o tea always seems to help me!!! ;)
Fondly,
Pat
Lovely! We are a bit behind with spring this year but it will be here--or, maybe summer will just heat us up. This is the first year that I've ever had a sign of an allergy. I actually made an appointment with my eye doctor as I thought I had a clogged tear duct. He said my eyes were fine--just not liking the pollen.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Spring is such a wonderful time of year - I'm sorry you are suffering from allergies. Not fun. I especially like the view from the coffee shop table - it looks like a relaxing and beautiful place to stay for a few hours.
ReplyDeleteLove the boy and the girl...so cute...reminds me of my grands!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is the sweetest statue! Sometimes I run my photos through an editing program to see if I can improve it...sometimes yes and sometimes no. :D
ReplyDeleteLocal honey for those allergies...works great for me anyway.
That's a great statue! Thanks for sharing your photos. [I had not heard about the Saturday cancellation being cancelled... good to know!] Thanks for the tip on the extra postage too! =)
ReplyDeleteI love your collection.
ReplyDeleteI would love to receive the one of tulips with the bike in the background - stunning!
Interesting about your mail... we are being threatened with dropping down to three deliveries a week. I'm sure the Saturday post has gone as there's only rubbish in our box at the weekends.
All because of the internet!!!

These are really nice a creative. I love the statue of the children. That brought joy to my heart!
ReplyDeleteDelightful note cards Dotsie; yum, a Starbucks on the side.
ReplyDeleteWe've never had Saturday delivery and I've heard a rumour of Canada Post possibly only delivering 3 times a week in the future.

These are all so pretty with the frames around them. The last one is my favorite....but I like that you chose 4 very different photos. I hope you feel better soon. We have terrible pollen here in Florida right now!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful cards Dotsie! I love them all. Such great spring scenes. You still get Saturday mail delivery? Ours was stopped years ago here.
ReplyDeleteLove your cards....can I join you for a nice coffee and a chat?
ReplyDeleteSorry about the allergies! I did see that this is going to be a big problem this year. Oh, joy!
Hugs
Jan
You have Saturday mail? I can't even remember when we lost that - it was so long ago.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about your allergies - not fair that allergies come just exactly when we most want to be outside!
Beautiful photo composition! I loved my visit here.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get relief from allergies soon. That's a miserable situation feeling, isn't it? Your pics may be low in resolution this week, but they're high in "pretty." Of course I love the sculpture of the children, but the bicycle and tulips is delightful!
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring! Love the Starbucks shot and the wonderful sculpture. All your selections scream -- SPRING! Bring it on! (I've been having trouble with pollen this year, too)
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog & leaving a comment!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing your springscape pictures. Sorry you're having allergy problems. Hopefully some April showers will soon wash it away.
Smiles,
Carol
Love the springtime theme! And I didn't know that they charge extra for square cards. What a ripoff!
ReplyDeleteYour note card photos are all charming! The sidewalk table (including the Starbucks cup!) calls my name. I love tulips! The sculpture is sweet...
ReplyDeleteYes, I love them all!
Hope you soon have relief from your allergies, so that you can enjoy spring in the city!
O, perfect photos for your cards. Very lovely, indeed.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the allergy trouble. :(
I didn't hear the cancelling was cancelled. Your notecards make me want to walk down Main street somewhere...
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love your previous post on the bottles. I have cobalt blue in my kitchen. Thanks for visiting. Great note cards. Would make me happy to receive any of them. Love the flowers and bike.
