Baking bread usually requires a whole day at home. That doesn't happen for me much
anymore, but I wish it did for I dearly love a good knead of bread, if there is such a word.
And of course, the results that come out of the oven, the scent ... and, well, I love it all.

We haven't made bread in quite a while- I might be inspired now!

ReplyDeleteI make bread regularly. We don't eat much of it anymore, so it lasts for awhile in the freezer. There's something so satisfying about baking bread, isn't there?
ReplyDeleteI never read that lovely Emily Dickenson quote before! Did you ever try making the "no knead bread" that you prepare the nght before and bake the next day? It is delicious! I haven't made t here as yet and I'm wonderng if altitude and air drynesshere will effect the outcome --it will be a future project!

I used to make bread quite a bit, the only part I didn't like was it was long hard work for two little loaves that were gone in 5 minutes! lol!

Dear Emily was known as a bread maker. She wrote poems on the back of receipts and recipes.

I love to make bread, it's not difficult honey, everything it's in the recipe kind. I love the smell of home made bread..it brings me to my childhood, since mother always baked bread and cookies. Big hugs to all of you.
