This week I took a stroll through past blog posts and just pulled
photos off without searching out a larger, original image.
I did a little playing in a photo editing program.
One reminded me of spring that left not long ago.
I wrote a thank you note this week on a real photo notecard made by
someone else. The recipient emailed me how much she appreciated it
and how rare a thing it is.
Does anyone hand write notes or letters anymore?
Joining A Haven For Vee for "Photo Note Card Wednesday!"
Yes, yes, yes!
ReplyDeleteIs that Weymouth in So Pines in the top photo?
Keep that pen and cards in the mail. Great way to make someone's day for 45 cents! Best gift!
I love these...especially the last one! I write notes and letters. I love the personal touch!
ReplyDeleteI just wrote about a dozen note cards to co workers a couple of months ago when I left my job. Notes of encouragement and appreciation.
ReplyDelete....but then again, I forgot to send out any Christmas cards this year...
Great photos, I love the one in town with the highway sign. So Americana and Norman Rockwell-ish. Visiting from Vee's Note Card Party. xo
ReplyDeleteHi, I enjoyed seeing your photos. My favorites are the ones with the children, and the brick shop. VWhat a fun party, and I have enjoyed seeing your notecards. And yes, I do write notes from time to time.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! It's hard to decide which one is my favorite...I love them all!
ReplyDeleteHow I'd love to have a set like this. So dreamy...I like what you did with the photo editing. Yes, I still write notes. Most often these days to fellow bloggers thanking them for this or that. I have one to write tomorrow and am having trouble finding a note card I like well enough to use.
ReplyDeleteLoved you pics especially the last one. Yes, I'm always writing hand written notes and I do think that people really appreciate them.
ReplyDeleteHope that you are enjoying your week!

Oh, yes, I write notes on notecards! Just last week I sent about a dozen -- and even received a few. Love your cards!
ReplyDeleteYes, I still write notes, and I know that you do!
ReplyDeleteSince I started making my own cards, I send a number of them out - thank you, thinking of you, besides the birthdays etc. Letters I don't write any more but I do know that people like to receive a card in the mail and postage is getting very expensive.

Great selection of images for Note Cards. Especially love the last one -- such adorable kids. I do write notes. In fact, I've tried to write more lately. I miss getting a surprise "thinking of you" in the mail! I figure I'm not the only one! Party On!
ReplyDeleteGreat choices this month. Such a sweet gesture to give a handwritten note.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful selection! I love the last one best. Sweet children and great editing. Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteI wrote a few thank you notes today...but you're right, hand written notes are becoming rarer.
ReplyDeleteYour note card photos are lovely from the first to the last...although the last one tugs at my grandmother heartstrings!
I do write notes occasionally. It's always such a treat to receive something real in the mail.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are lovely, especially the last one of the two little ones.
I don't write too many notes anymore. I love to get them, tho! These are a beautiful set of photos!
ReplyDeleteI'm torn between the third and the fourth one. Both beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love these photos; each is so different from all the others. The last photo with the two little girls is DARLING! These would all make great note cards. To answer your question, I do send handwritten cards out now and then -- not nearly as often as I should.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit; it's so nice to meet yet another North Carolina blogger. We living in an interesting state, don't you think? Hope you have a great day!
Denise
Great photos, the kiddos would be my first pic though - I treasure the photos of my sons (way back when.
ReplyDeleteI must say that email has replaced the quick notes for me, except "thank you" notes - they have to be on fabulous note cards for me.
My mother paints note cards for me - those are saved and treasured.
Podso,
ReplyDeleteYes...some of us still "find a pen". Guilty of not doing it often enough, though! Lovely photographs!
Fondly,
Pat
These are wonderful "note cards", Dotsie. I have been writing lots of notes over the past few weeks. I always love receiving them, too. blessings ~ Tanna
ReplyDeleteI love the last photo -- so sweet! I'm afraid I'm horrible at writing letters, and even when I do write them I'm horrible at actually getting them in the mail :(
ReplyDeleteI love these photos. Looks like I missed out on the party this time. Such a fun one and you always have such great photos! I love to write handwritten notes. But I'll admit life gets in the way sometimes.
ReplyDeleteLove these cards. I hand paint all my greeting cards. I buy boxes of watercolor card paper and paint them all. I usually use acrylics but prefer the watercolor paper. After I spray with clear varnish they are perfect for framing after the person receives them if they like. I am having photo loading problems and have not been able to load any of my new photos. Always something.

Your pictures look so professional. I wish I knew how to take good pictures! I need to take some time and learn. I have a good camera. I'm just not familiar with all the different options.
