Do you know the peanut butter song?
I like to sing it when we are having peanut butter sandwiches at lunch …
to the grands…just as I sang it to their daddy.
Highchairs have disappeared from their house, but this
Littlest One seems to love the novelty of sitting in our old highchair
when at our house. (They think grandma's house is filled with old fashioned
things, just like her name!) Also the chair is placed close to the vintage
phone still hanging on the wall. Lively phone conversations
have been known to take place during lunch.
Peanut butter and honey can be really messy and this little girl does not like messes.
I don't think I know the peanut butter song. A toasted peanut butter and honey sandwich cut into squares and eaten with a fork would be mighty tasty and help with the messy dilemma. :) Happy birthday to Little Miss.
ReplyDeleteNo i don't but the photos are too cute
ReplyDeleteLovely little girl...sorry but I loathe peanut butter!
ReplyDeleteGrandma's house might have some old-fashioned "things" but happy memories are being made of them!! Happy birthday to your littlest "Little One"!!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
I don't know the PB song either. Happy Birthday to your youngest Grand! So cute!
ReplyDeleteHello, Happy Birthday to your grandchild. I am not familiar with the peanut butter song. Your granddaughter is precious. I can imagine the phone conversations, so cute. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
ReplyDeleteCount me in - I don't know the song either. And do I relate to that look over the mess. My very unhealthy solution is peanut butter pops (a spoonful of peanut butter right out of the jar). I need to reform.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your sweet granddaughter.
PB&H is a favorite around here. I don't know if I know the PB song. Sweet 3 year old grand!
ReplyDeleteYes, I know that song and we sing it too!
ReplyDeleteYour little one is so sweet in the high chair. We have an old wooden high chair here too, and it is popular with the two year old set.
Oh what fun you had!!! Memories to be cherished! Have a wonderful week!!!
ReplyDeleteDotsie, I don't know the peanut butter song--you must teach us! My grands loves peanut butter and honey. Happy birthday to a little cutie pie. ♥
ReplyDeleteOh I do need to take a lesson and really get into my meal more...enjoy it with all my senses!! Loved this!

I don't think I know the Peanut Butter song either but I do love me some peanut butter and honey sandwiches! What a sweet post...and she doesn't look one bit too big to be sitting in that cool old timey high chair! I slept in a baby crib until I was four...lol! Happy Birthday, sweet girl!
ReplyDeleteI don't know the PB song! I do love little grands who eat peanut butter and honey sandwiches though!
ReplyDeleteLots of great things at grandma's house, old fashioned or not!
Happy birthday to your grandgirlie! Three! What fun!
Oh my, this is littlest one turning 3 already? How they grow and I'm glad to hear peanut butter is still a favourite. I don't know the song though, will there be a little video with your two singing? ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet mosaic!! Isn't it funny how some kids really do not like getting messy. That is so cute. I'll have to learn the song. I ate a ton of peanut butter when i was younger, so it's surprising that I've never heard the song.
ReplyDeleteAwww...happy birthday to the "baby"!! (I can't believe that she is three already!) Oh, she is adorable! I love that she loves the highchair...and clean hands. :)
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable ♥
ReplyDeleteHappy 3rd Birthday to your sweet granddaughter. What a lovely collage of photos of her in the old fashioned high chair. So cute!
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Birthday to Littlest One, Dotsie!! You know I think she is just ADORABLE!!! :) I don't know the peanut butter song, which is surprising since I ate a ton of peanut butter when I was growing up. ;) I love that you still have a vintage phone with a cord on your wall -- makes me happy to see that.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week, Dotsie.
Hugs,
Denise
