My thoughts go frequently to my mother these days as this was the time,
two years ago, that she was ill and slowly saying good-bye to us.
I was with her every day.
And when I see faded pink roses I always think of her.
She loved a delicate shade of pink. These helped us celebrate her 90th birthday.
I'm so grateful for memories!
Lovely roses, memories and photo of your Mom! Beautiful mosaic... Wishing you a happy week ahead!
ReplyDeleteMy mother loved roses, too. This is a wonderful way to remember your mom and what a long life she had!

ReplyDeleteFour years ago for me. the pale pink roses are a nice way to remember. My mother was also a fan of pink. One thing is certain, they are safely home.
ReplyDeleteJust so lovely and so sweet to remember your beloved mother that way. I feel the same, though for me, it has been 20 years, since she passed, when I see Hydrangeas, which she adored~

ReplyDeleteI think you bear a strong resemblance to your mother! And I love those beautiful roses. You know, I like roses best when they are about to fade and are so very soft. There is something extra special about a full blown rose, too.
ReplyDeleteSending you tender hugs as you remember your mother. I feel this way in the spring. My mother has been gone for 25 years. Seems like it was yesterday.

Roses are beautiful flowers, the petals formed in many layers that remind me of the layers of qualities of our darling mothers.
