A bride's train, ready to head down the aisle, full of hope for a new life together ....
Love letters filled with hope for a future together ...
Joining Mary's white photo challenge today.
Due to some questions about this post, I will add that the photos making up the "story" are random: our niece's wedding train from last July; dessert dishes at a wedding reception a year ago, and, my parents' love letters. All filled with hope for sure.

Lovely photos. I especially love the last one.

Is this a new story or a collection of memories? Your choices of 3 photos tell a story but whose is it?
ReplyDeleteVery hopeful and lovely!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Yes, a story! Are you telling us more? That gown looks like a vintage one to me, though I could be wrong.
ReplyDeleteI like your interpretation for white, and including hope Dotsie.

Love the stories behind the photos and the photos themselves. That stack of plates is really striking.
ReplyDeleteAn upcoming wedding or memories or the past, you should always leave them guessing.
ReplyDeleteMerle......

Exquisite, as always, dear friend!!!
The pile of love letters filled me warmth...remembering all the letters "Mr.Ed" and I wrote to each other in his Military service years!!!
Fondly,

ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely, Dotsie! Do you read your parent's love letters? I found some my Dad wrote to my Mom when i went through he things after she passed away last year, and I was shy about reading them at first but then I was so happy when I did finally read them. My Dad passed away when I was in my teens and there was so much I wished I could have shared with him during my life. When I found his letters I felt such a tug on my heartstrings. he wrote such sweet things to my Mom.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photographs!
ReplyDeleteA magical post! I love the stack of dishes and how sweet to have a stack of love letters. Thanks so much for stopping by, Laura
