I've always loved Mary Cassatt paintings, and have a special place in my heart for Pennsylvania. What an interesting place! So much industry and so much renewal. Good thing those jellybellies aren't sitting on my desk.
ReplyDeleteA nice representation of colour Dotsie, that would be me with the aqua house! Our last house was a boring beige on the outside so we painted the garage and trim in a deep raspberry with pink accents from the flowers and shrubs. The next thing we knew, other homeowners dared to be bold and adventurous with colour too.

Mary Cassatt - one of my favourites. If I could ever paint I would wish to capture children and mothers as she did.
