tea for three by the sea-shells

Several years ago we had a teaparty for my great nieces on my sister's porch.
Since then when they are at their grandma's (my sister) they ask for a teaparty.
My sister sent me this collage of their latest teaparty which looks to be full of goodies!
I love it when little kids associate things such as teaparties with certain places, and ask for traditions!
On the other side of my sister's porch is her collection of sea shells.
Their muted colors attracted my camera!.

See Mary's Little Red House for other Monday Mosaics.

  5. They look darling having a tea party! I remember doing this as a child with our very own little set. I treasured those times with my own girls as well! As I've said before, I can't wait to be a grandma!!

  13. Hi Podso
The little ones look so sweet having their tea party. Lovely blond hair on them all too.
I agree, it's a fine tradition to start them off with early and they look forward to it.

  19. Hopefully in years to come they will remember those lovely tea parties and carry on the tradition with their children. I remember having tea at my Grandma's house. It wasn't a formal thing but just a gab session for my Mom and me. I loved it and remember it with sweet thoughts. Lovely mosaic. V

  21. I like it when they started young and appreciate the tradition. I have not seen tea party for little ones. I might start with my family, is there a tea party for boys or men? Thanks for the visit and happy Monday!

  24. I love tea parties for any age but little girls are especially a favorite!

I'm not sure why my blog didn't show up on your "reader". There are, however, times on my blog that my "reader" says "you are not following any blogs". What? Also, there are a few of the blogs I enjoy that cause my computer to completely hang up and have to be rebooted. There are three of them that this started happening on several months ago. Drat!

    Best,
    Bonnie

  26. What a darling little group of girls and how nice that they love their grandma's tea-parties! If my grand-daughters lived close by that is exactly what I would do with them.
Instead, I have started a tradition of giving my grand-son and grand-daughter, that lived near me, hot milk tea when they come to visit and they love it.
    The sea shells are beautiful!

  27. Oh my goodness, are they the most beautiful children???
What a wonderful time they are having, too -- it's such a gift to them, introducing them to the time-honored ritual of sharing tea together. They will never forget.

And -- you love dishes? Who knew? (wink).

Thanks for entering the giveaway today!

  30. Pods,
I adore the little girls @ the Tea Party! Traditions are the one thing that gives us a sense of belonging! What a wonderful memory you and your sister are giving these girls in your family!
    Fondly,
    Pat
P.S. My maternal Grandmother taught me to drink coffee without my MoMa's knowledge one Summer many, many years ago!!!
