the search

We went in search of a pumpkin, better known to some little girls as Cinderella's carriage.
When we got to the farm the animals were scarce. Before long a trailer full of white cows arrive.
Good enough for us to watch and exclaim over once they were in the pasture.
Hide and seek: Can you imagine a very tall grandpa hiding in hay bales? Yes he did!
It's a toss up who had more fun, but it may have been the grandparents.

  1. Oh, it looks like a delightful day! I'll bet the children loved looking for their grandpa in the hay bales! Those grandparent-grandchildren times...sooooo good!

  3. Beautiful, just absolutely beautiful. What could be more fun for children (and especially for grandparents!) than an afternoon at a farm and a pumpkin patch? I'm pretty sure I know who had the most fun.....and who was the most tired at the end of the day!

  4. These are wonderful pictures, Dotsie! The grands are just precious. :-D We recently discovered a pumpkin farm just a few miles from our house, and we bought pumpkins there the past two years. I'm looking forward to going again this year.

I'm glad the kids of all ages had a great time at the pumpkin farm. :)

    Hugs,

    Denise

  5. I don't know which I miss more--taking the boys in search of the perfect pumpkin or taking them to pick out the best (not always perfect) Christmas tree. I'm sure the grandparents are the winners in the most fun category!!

    Best,
    Bonnie

  6. What fun you ALL had! I know, I'm a Grammie and it would be so much fun to do this with our 2 little boys. So many things we are missing out on with them thousands of miles away. Do enjoy yours every chance you can. I love the collage. Great photos!

  9. I remember the days of visiting the pumpkin patch with the grands. It wasn't too much fun for grandma lost in the maze one year but it brought delightful laughter to the kiddies.
If your hubby is like mine, he's the biggest kid there.
