All mostly "healthy" food . . .
taken with my little canon point and shoot camera.
Usually a scene calls me as I visualize what it might look like.
Then I reach for the camera, aim it, and then crop later for the
image I was seeing in my mind.

You did a lovely job! I like how you got the food lined up in the first and second photos. The styling and composition on the last photo is terrific. I want to dive right into those cupcakes!!! And cropping photos is great fun. I usually crop a little bit here and there, but sometimes, I will do a BIG one because the composition just works better than way.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in on the challenge and I'm glad you had fun!
Oh what is that second photo? Are they destined to be oven roasted? Your cupcakes from such a healthfully named store look decadent and delicious!
ReplyDeleteI think those are the prettiest veggie slices I've ever seen! And I like the angle you took some of your photos...off to one side! The cupcakes look amazing! Nice photography!
ReplyDeleteHello Dotsie
ReplyDeleteAn impressive array of food presented, and photographed nicely. Very clever to stand the sliced veggies on end like that - something I just may have to try.

ReplyDeleteMmm. Can I come over for dinner? Those vegetables look wonderful. You've zeroed in on them so well. I like to crop photos, too. It can make such a difference.
ReplyDeleteDot...these are truly beautiful photos, I applaud you! I just cannot take a good picture of the food I make. And cropping is not my forte at all! Mmmmmmm!

Dot, thank you so much for your sweet words on my post about Mom. They were much appreciated, Please know I am thinking of you in your loss as well. I lost Mama almost 25 years ago, and I miss her so much. It is just never easy to lose the ones we love, but thankfully The Lord and friends help us through. Thanks again for the loving comments.
