The Gardener: writing project; Me: resting and regrouping project. At the beach. Mostly chilly with an occasional touch of warmth, a hint of spring and one or two rainy spells. Perfect.
My favourite times at the beach are in spring and fall - or on a warmish winter day. I like having the shore to myself (along with the birds) and I like the wind and the sound of the waves. Enjoy!
Oh, I could SO use a beautiful view and warm temps right now....but I know spring is coming and I'll wait as patiently as I can. I don't have an ocean nearby, but we visit The Lake of the Ozarks in the summer and it's the next best thing! :)
The beach is a great place to regroup. It's so spacious and makes me think of my place in this world and the vastness of God's love. Enjoy your time there!
That does sound perfect! "Mostly chilly" (much better than hot!)..."a hint of spring" (delightful!)..."one or two rainy spells" (just enough to provide some down time). Yep, perfect.
The wide open spaces are often what we need to clear our heads. I love our trips to the beach too and rain or shine I always enjoy the walks, looking for shells and bits of driftwood. Hope you're OK Dotsie. hugs Shane ♥
That sounds like just what any of us would enjoy even for a day, if we could...warm weather and something a little different to boost the spirit of renewal too~
Sounds perfect to me too, Dotsie. I love the beach. So much to see and note and photograph. I hope you have a beautiful week. Hugs, Pam

The beach sounds wonderful! We have one of those "shadow" shots, too. It's one of my favorites.

ReplyDeleteHow nice to get out for a walk in the fresh air. John just skidded in from the cold that grips our corner...no walks in our near future.
ReplyDeleteLovely shadow photo...those are some of my favorites.
