The abundance of tomatoes in our kitchen was amazing when I walked in from work tonight.
Each day the Gardener harvests more. We give them away, eat them, cook them,
and enjoy them. I think it is our best crop ever. These photos were taken at dusk.
They are so cheery!
See Mary's Little Red House for more Monday Mosaics!
Congrats on such a great crop. They do look yummy. I love tomatoes. Have a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteOh my but they look plump and tasty!!! Lucky you!!! Cathy
ReplyDeleteLove your tomatoes. I've been eating a tomato 3 times a day and it still seems like they are cloning themselves! Nothing beats the taste of a homegrown tomato. YUM
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo mosaics. Lovely to see them lined up in the window and I love your swing in the back yard! Hope you have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteOur tomatoes are still green, but soon I will have also have fresh ones. Nothing tastes better then a warm tomato from the garden. Have a great week:)
ReplyDeleteI sure wish I was next door to 'borrow' a tomato! There's nothing as good as a ripe tomato fresh from the garden!
ReplyDeletePodso,
ReplyDeleteNO tomatoes grown here...but I do have a plan for next year's garden!!! These photos make me want to put on some bacon, wash some lettuce, toast some bread and slather on some mayo for a homemade BLT!!!EnJOY!
Fondly,
Pat
They are beautiful. My crop has not been very good this year. They started out by making huge green tomatoes then the stink bugs found them and because of the odd weather they started cracking. I gave up!!!! Maybe in the fall!!! Smiles.Dottie
ReplyDeleteYou're doing something right Dotsie, a bountiful harvest and none with blemishes. I don't grow tomatoes any more, for the few we eat, the farmers' market supplies me.
ReplyDeleteJudith
I can almost taste them. There's nothing like a warm fresh tomato from the garden is there. Enjoy the week!
ReplyDeleteLove the tomatoes in the window! That is the place for summer tomatoes! Lovely pictures!
ReplyDeleteLove homegrown veggies. Looks juicy too.

I am green, make that red, with envy! The two bigger tomatoes from Saturday's market were sent to me by the farmer with the caution to let them "ripen a day or too". It wasn't to be. I cut them up immediately and put them in a salad. Delicious even slightly under ripe. If I lived closer, I'd be stopping around for a few.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
It's my turn to be jealous! We have three small green tomatoes that we are watching very carefully. We figure that they've cost us about $50 each. Are they sweet, juicy, and impossibly delicious? No. Don't tell me! I haven't had a decent tomato since last October.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful crop of tomatoes. Mine are only starting to set fruit here in the Northwest. Enjoy your tomatoes.

Oh, I'm so envious of your tomatoes. Mine are just beginning to set fruit and I have weeks to wait before they ripen. In the meantime, I'll imagine how good yours are tasting. They are beautiful - so ripe and red. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYour tomatoes look wonderful and so delicious, as only a homegrown tomato can taste.
ReplyDeleteNice photos and title.
Thanks so much for your kind words lately and for praying for my daughter. She is getting around better, Ill go home in another week or so, I think.
Hugs, cindy
Lovely fresh and juicy tomatoes. I can almost taste them. I love summer. Valerie
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish I were your neighbour! The tomatoes here rotted with all the cool rain, but I'm sure I'll find some juicy ones at the farmers' market.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful tomatoes! I love tomato red. Too bad we are not closer; I could trade you some avocados for tomatoes...
ReplyDeleteAh, your tomatoes look so good! Mine are still green, and I can't wait to taste my first fresh tomato!
ReplyDeleteI love good homegrown tomatoes! The neighbor next door gave me 2 the other day...AMAZING! The neighbor across the lane gave me several and they were pithy. I would love to know the difference and when I make a purchase know which are the best.
ReplyDeleteOh yummy! And they are so beautiful ripening on the windowsill. Enjoy! And have a great week. Tammy
ReplyDeleteWow, you have tomatoes already! Here in Pa. we are on the look-out for something besides blossoms.
