I decided to celebrate summer at Vee's monthly Card Party.
I wish I lived in this house. I don't even know who does, it's just up in
a small Pennsylvania town near where the Gardener grew up.

The Gardener's tomatoes...from a previous growing season. We're not quite here yet this year.
Rest in the mountains. Yes, that's the spine of a Jan Karon book.
Homegrown by a friend. These all were in previous posts, but I don't remember where.
Vee gave me the idea of looking on Fli--r for my old photos, and it was sure easy!
Then I doctored them a bit with an "urbane" look at picmon-ey.

Beautiful photos, love that house, which is in my favorite state. The daisies are gorgeous. Visiting from Vee's linky party. xo
ReplyDeleteI love the daisies...they are such a happy flower! And Jan Karon is a favorite author. We have the audio books and listened to them on the 11 plus hour trip from NC to FL. It sure makes the trip go by faster...or it seems to!
ReplyDeleteYou chose a nice variety of beautiful photos. I wish I lived in that house too!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots ~ especially the house and the rocker!
ReplyDeleteOh we can imagine what that home would be like inside...large square rooms with a beautiful open stairway in the foyer. Yup. I could talk myself right into wanting to live there myself. The rocker with the Jan Karon book just there to be picked up when one is finished rocking, thinking, watching, praying...perfection!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos....awe...yes, the Mountains! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteYour photos are just perfect for note cards! Can't wait until we get fresh tomatoes this summer!
ReplyDeleteReally nice photos. How I would love to see the inside of that house and sit on that porch reading a Jan Karon book. We did pick our first tomato last week. Yummy.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a tour of that old house. The bouquet of daisies is beautiful and the rocker on the porch looks inviting.
