One of the things I love most about both having a blog and reading other blogs, is the photos.
"A picture is worth a thousand words" ... So when blogger buddy Vee
had the idea to have bloggers share (on the first day of spring!!) four favorite photos
used on their blogs--that might make nice note cards, it was a pleasure to join in.
Any of these would do for me; in fact I made note cards from the church door photo
one time, and gifted them to a mother whose son, the
groom, walked out of that door with his bride on his arm!
And let's hear it for hand-written notes!

Nice choices Dotsie. I've used some of my photos for cards before too and now since I make my own, don't buy any more from the store.
ReplyDeleteI've even got some of the grands making all their own cards for BD parties etc. too.

Beautiful! What a treat it'd be to get any one of these cards!
ReplyDeletep.s. I went shopping for some flowers to plant and not a single pansy was to be had! Guess I missed out. There were lots of petunias so I opted for those.
Beautiful photos! I love this idea. I never thought to make cards from my photos or ones of anyone else for that matter! Very neat idea!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Great "cards" -- they are perfect! I sometimes think that I should make cards out of some of my photos -- much cheaper I think than buying someone else's!
ReplyDeleteI like your choices for your cards Dotsie. It was quite a challenge for me. I like the lawn chair one. Hugs, Pamela
ReplyDeleteOh come link up when you get the chance. What a nice set these four would be! I particularly love Adirondack chairs and the flowers are so bright and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYes, a hand written letter is worth the cost of a stamp today!
ReplyDeleteLove thinking back to my son and his bride walking out. Now onto #3 son's wedding in June!
These are perfect. I would like a set of those. We may all find a new career.

Wonderful photos and a great idea! I'd be opting for the door as I cannot resist photographing them. I plan a small collection on a wall when I can weed through and select my favorites.
