hat lady

This girl loves hats and is even happier if several purses are hanging off her arms.
So a birthday was a good reason to get at least one crochet project completed.
Tucked under the hat are her first-ever wisps of stick-out pigtails.
What a busy day it was turning two.

  2. Oh, I remember the first pony tails and pig tails, quite an ordeal for little girls! You made a pretty hat for the birthday girl Grandma, soft Easter colours and your granddaughter looks cute wearing it. Is there a matching purse? :-)
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Dotsie.

  11. Such a cutie Happy Birthday to her. I remember putting a tiny pigtail in my daughters hair as soon as she had enough,
complete with ribbon. But it did not stay in for very long.

  14. Cut hat and it fits. I always have a very hard time getting crocheted hats to fit. Preciosu little one to show it off, or does the hat show off the little one?
