At the end, the ice-cream filled cone squished in her little hand, oozing it down her arm.
Messy, messy. But this littlest one didn't miss a beat at her big brother and sister's
birthday party, trying her best to keep up with the big kids.
Upstairs for a mini bath we went. She loved the novelty of the sink bath
Messy, messy. But this littlest one didn't miss a beat at her big brother and sister's
birthday party, trying her best to keep up with the big kids.
Upstairs for a mini bath we went. She loved the novelty of the sink bath
as she screeched "Ba! Ba!" (bath) As she lay on the changing table while I diapered her,
the towel touched the side of her face. Her fingers popped into her mouth and her eyes
got heavy, starting to close. Time for a nap, all fresh and clean.
A tuckered out little party girl.
How very sweet is that!!
ReplyDeleteLove them smelling so sweet and droopy-lidded...hope it meant time in a rocking chair for you...
ReplyDeleteNow isn't that just about the cutest thing I've seen in a while. The kitchen sink was my ONLY bath tub when I was her size!
ReplyDeleteSuch sweetness. I love that drowsy, ready-for-a-nap time. She's adorable.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! You painted the perfect picture of a drowsy baby girl.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie

ReplyDeleteAwww...I can't wait till my granddaughter is old enough to interact more fully with us. She's already smiling at us when we act goofy enough. ☺
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteMy grand girlie is getting to be big - she's now four!
I miss little ones being around!

Oh my...this post is oozing sweetness! As you described the sleepy little one, I could imagine wrapping her up in that towel and rocking her to sleep. Is there anything sweeter than a sleepy baby fresh from her bath? Sigh...
ReplyDeleteShe is so precious! I remember how a bath before bed would help my kids drift off to sleep like magic!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Well that is the cutest thing with your granddaughter in the bathroom sink. I used the kitchen sink many times but her sitting in a round basin style reflected in the mirror gives bath time a little more elegance.
ReplyDeleteI miss our babies, everyone's growing up and has an iPad or laptop keeping them busy.
So sweet. How fun to be small enough to have one's bath in the sink!
ReplyDeleteAw, she is so sweet. What fun you are having. I see you have comment moderation due to spam comments (read it on Lori's blog). Did you have to add the notice below the comment box or does it automatically come up? I've had so many spam comments this past week or 2 that it's really annoying me. I'm usually checking email through the day and catch them but I wonder if they automatically go through to other blogs too - like a fast spreading flu bug! I'm considering adding the comment moderation. Will the comments still come through my email? I'm so afraid of changing anything. How does it stop the spam comments anyway? Thanks in advance for your help. Pam
