I'm feeling some fatigue tonight. As I amble through photos randomly taken
over this past week I see why I may be tired. Visiting family left a couple of hours ago.
I've had a little nap and am thinking about the week ahead before I get a load of wash in the machine.
Lots of good things to look forward to this week as the Christmas
season begins. Meanwhile, some pics of the week that was.
I think I did a lot of cooking!
I love making mosaics, even of ordinary days, so once again I link to Mary's Mosaics on Monday!
Sometimes Thanksgiving is more enjoyable looking back than when it's actually happening. ;) So much to do!! Hope you get some good rest.
ReplyDeleteWe had Thanksgiving here late Friday and then it was cleanup + start to decorate for Christmas..I understand, lol....it is all wonderful PLUS tiring :) Love your post and photos :)
ReplyDeletePodso,
ReplyDeleteYes! Indeed it was a busy week at your home, dear friend!!!
The photo of your grandchild stole my heart!!! Precious!!!
Have an amazing week ahead!
Fondly,
Pat
It definitely looks like a busy week for you! Love that you took time to photograph some of the events. That baby face is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteMosaics are such a great way to share photos when you have a busy week! Looks like you had some goodies and some fun too! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteYou must have had a good week and a Happy Thanksgiving from the looks of it. Hope that the weeks before Christmas are filled with the things you enjoy and that the pace is a little slower…at least for this week while you rest up!
ReplyDeleteYou had a very busy week. Lots of fun too, I'm sure. I really thought that was two babies in the last photo. So cute!! Enjoy the coming week and your Christmas decorating etc. Blessings, Pam
ReplyDeleteThe best of weeks it looks like. Did you decide to paint in the middle of things?
ReplyDeleteMy legs were soooo tired after the holiday, Dotsie, with all the time spent cooking and bring things up and down from the basement. It was nice to take a couple days break before beginning decorating for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling a little fatigued as well. Your photos show it was well worth it all. Rest and enjoy good memories.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Lol, it certainly does look like you've done a lot of cooking. Hope you had a lovely family get together.
ReplyDeleteEveryday mosaics are a great way to sum up a week's activities. Lots of activity at your place, but I'll bet you had a lot of fun, too. Hope you rest up this week.
ReplyDeleteFull pots, a full table, a full house and a full heart - that's what I see in your photos.
ReplyDeleteGood day Podso and it certainly does look like you did some cooking and the children are precious! We had a blessed week, a bit of a scare with Dad last Monday, yet all turned out well in the end. Have a Happy Week~
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, sounds like a lovely week and great dinner with your family. The little one is a cutie! Enjoy your week ahead!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are representative of a wonderful, heart-warming week! (Fatigue is certainly a by-product...one with which I can totally relate!)
ReplyDeleteYes, looks like cooking and washing up afterwards, playing with babies and entertaining adults.
ReplyDeleteWhew! I'd be a little tired myself.
I hope this week is more restful for you Dottie.
Judith
The best kind of busy! The kind that has eternal value!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a nap!
Deanna
How nice to have family over for a big Thanksgiving meal and some grand baby time too. You are blessed!
ReplyDeleteNothing says Happy Thanksgiving like lots of good cookin' and family. It can see you were blessed with both. Best wishes on the weeks to come.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it was all worth it!
ReplyDeleteHopefully it's someone elses turn to host next year.
Have a good rest and a happy week.
Gorgeous baby.....
My goodness you did have a busy time!
ReplyDeleteDotsie, I have so enjoyed catching up with you this morning. I especially loved your "downstairs" post and your friend's rescue of that beautiful nativity.
ReplyDeleteThere is a lot of work around Christmas time... and I love the reminder the symbolisms bring. =) Wishing you all the best in 2014. blessings and hugs ~ tanna
