dusk comes early

Dusk is falling earlier, and with it comes cooler temperatures and candles.
It's turning to a cozier time of year.

  1. I sure am loving this nice perfect weather - got so tired of the constant humid heat of summer.

Your candles give off the most beautiful glue nestled in beautifully with all that natural beans, etc.

  2. I so enjoy this time of year. I love it when the daylight wanes, and the house has that soft amber glow to it. I cook more, and bake more, and nest more. It is a cozy time of year!
All except for the fact that my grandchildren share every bug they catch at school with me!!!

  4. Let dusk be an early bird, so long as one can nest in such warmth and coziness, cooler temps and shorter days are most welcome!

    Lovely ambience!

  8. Now is the time for candles. They warm the soul with their gentle glow, I find. The fillers in your holders are so creative. Cozy autumn evenings to you, Podso.

  9. It really is amazing, the time changes, the air changes and suddenly after craving veggie salads, cold pasta salad and potato salad, we begin to crave soups, stews and hot cocoa, oh and yes, grilled cheese takes the place of a BLT for me, once Autumn arrives ;)

  10. Your bean base candles are nice Dotsie, and I have been burning some candles of mine to scent the house with autumn.
I don't 'cozy' could describe another season as well as it does for fall.

  14. Yes Autumn is the season for bringing out the candles to give that special ambiance with flickering flame.
The beans and lentils create the comfort food feel - just lovely!

Beautiful candles. I can't believe how quickly the days are becoming short. It won't be long until it's time for me to hibernate. :-)

Yes, dusk is coming sooner and sooner. We have the sunset on the beach this week because we haven't gotten our life on a fall schedule yet.
