A lovely quote, a thankful heart is a beautiful thing. And love the serenity of your table setting, and love all that green outside... anything outside my window right now is brown and gray :)
I love the photo and wonderful quote...they go so well together. I notice that you have black chairs around your pretty oak table. I am planning to paint my pressed back chairs (that go with my table) black. I really like that look. Enjoy your weekend, Dotsie!
I love the picture of your kitchen, Dotsie! I still think your new wall color is pretty, and the shelf above your window is charming. You also have a lovely view outside your window there. :)
I'm sorry to see that Amy will no longer be hosting "Five on Friday." She always did a nice job. Hope you're enjoying this lovely weather today -- have a good weekend!
I wrote the comment above...then went to check to see if I had any new comments...and there you were! I love when that happens! And we appreciate the prayers and kind words. He's resting right now so I'm visitin' with my girlfriends. Sweet hugs, Diane
Dotsie, A great photo with a true statement. I have been concentrating on gratitude as I lead the bible study based on Ann Voskamp book One Thousand Gifts. Thanks for sharing. Sylvia D.
I know Amy would have appreciated your "gratitude" post Dotsie, well done. Love your round kitchen table and "five" table mats. We have Windsor chairs similar to yours - I bought ours at a junk shop when we were first married and they're still going strong The GK Chesterton quote is perfect for the last Five on Friday. I enjoyed his 'Father Brown' books which are now on TV. Shane
