Two windows from our time in Germany, both lined with lace.
This lace is in a tiny window not 18 inches wide.
You might guess which room of the house it was found in!
Our hotel room was at the back of the building and
I loved seeing the beautiful lace in this window against the green of the grass.

ReplyDeleteWe picked up some lace in Dbrovnyk, Croatia, and it is beautiful. I also have some eyelet work that was part of my grandmother's collection. Lace is always fascinating to me.

ReplyDeleteHi Dotsie, Is this curtain in the bathroom by chance? :) I am a long-time fan of lace curtains -- I just adore them. I always thought they looked so cottagey and European. These you've used in your mosaic are especially pretty; I love the holes for the curtain rod -- so unusual! Germany is a country that I'd love to visit someday; it's on my list. :)
