I didn't have a clue what to do for a motion image but then
remembered that we had seen motion in water
this past weekend in MN.
So here we are, three images of movement, one showing the power of water;
the other two more gentle. The latter two were taken with my iPhone.
Joining in Donna's Photo Challenge today,
where the challenge is "Motion."
Yes, moving water is just the ticket! These are lovely, with the water ripples adding to the composition in the second and third photos. And that waterfall shot sure is grand!
ReplyDeleteEach photo is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThat first photo is breathtaking! And oh how I love the leaves in the front of the third one. It frames your photo! Very nice choices! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeletePS I like your new banner! It's beautiful! Hugs
ReplyDeleteMoving water images are some of my favourites. Falling water is always lovely and capturing ripples in more gentle water conveys the sense of motion. The light on the leaves in the last shot is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI am loving these photo's of water movements, I'm new following, thank you for your comment and visit to Return to Loblolly, hope you visit more
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots of the water in all of these great photos! Great job, Dotsie!
ReplyDeleteThese are all so pretty! Beautiful examples of water in motion.
ReplyDeleteOhhh sigh... That waterfall photo....
ReplyDeleteAnd the other two are lovely also, and taken with your iPhone. The last one is especially clear and shows the droplets, in a super way.
I love, love, love photos of water in motion. Even of rain drops on a window...
Tessa~
I really like your middle picture of the water rings. Lots of motion there!
ReplyDeleteThey're all nice Dotsie and show the motion of the water clearly. I'm going to have to use my iPhone more often for photos, these are great!

Some really lovely photographs! I will have several "water in motion" photos from our trip to Longwood Gardens next week. Pierre du Pont loved moving water since he was a little boy and had his huge fountain built in his personal garden. What one forgets when visiting Longwood is that he did this for his own pleasure as a private venture. It was only later that he began opening his grounds a few days a week for the public to enjoy. The scale of it would lead one to think it had been planned as a public park from the very beginning!
ReplyDeleteThey certainly do show motion! I can almost feel (and hear) the motion as I look at your beautiful waterfall photo! Lovely, lovely!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous....!
ReplyDeleteWow that waterfall is beautiful! We went to Niagra falls years ago and you are right falls take your breath away.
ReplyDeleteLeann
