A house we stayed at recently had geraniums in full bloom, and other flowers
we would see in summer where we live. Of course Florida is on a
different flower schedule than we are. These were taken in early evening.

How very pretty!!! Looks like a wonderful place to sit and reflect on God's gifts! Have a grand week!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Gertrude Wister!
ReplyDeleteThere's something quite medicinal about flowers! Beautiful photos! Was it rainy in Florida?
ReplyDeleteLove geraniums mine are just budding, the flowers are beautiful, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sue
It is always nice to see spring blooms....it will be awhile for our garden though.

Blooming flowers are good for the soul. So pretty. Geraniums are such a lovely good old fashioned flower. It will be a while before mine bloom! ♥
ReplyDeleteYay! Spring has sprung!!
ReplyDeleteOh... That is soooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love that brick patio!! It looks like a perfect place to spend a little time for refreshment.
ReplyDeleteI also love red geraniums! We plant them in containers every year. They are cheerful and fairly hardy. (That is important for a non-gardening sort of person like myself.)
Podso,
ReplyDeleteLovely!!!
I agree with your quote, dear friend!!!
I'm so~o`o enjoying the "first" flowers of Spring!!!
We've had two red roses bloom this past week, one Pink rose and one Gingersnap rose in the bud!
Ah~h~h. . .and everything is turning green on the Prairie!!!
Thanks for sharing these lovelies!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Hello Podso, flowers always make me smile. They are so pretty and I love the quote.. Beautiful images! Have a happy day and new week ahead!
ReplyDeletePodso, you captured those lovely flowers at the perfect time, they are just brilliant! Beautiful mosaic!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images and quote : ) I noted how green the grass was there as well. Ours is currently like that since we are getting so much rain this spring !:)
ReplyDeleteWhen we lived in Charleston, we had something in bloom year around. Here, we celebrate spring with blooms after a long winter without them.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
What beautiful flowers! And that quotation is so true! I'd never thought of that before, but I so agree.
ReplyDeleteI just planted some red geraniums! I love flowers - they make me happy!

Such vibrant colours in these spring petals! I love the simplicity of geraniums; they're guaranteed gorgeousness and ours last through the winter months, too. What a pretty place to sit and admire all the newcomers of the season!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a lovely week!

I love the rich colours in these beautiful photos. I have geraniums in bloom in the dining room window - as close as it gets to blooms right now.
ReplyDeleteThe bench with a pot of red geraniums on either side is perfect for me because I like symmetry, drive myself crazy with it at times!
ReplyDeleteFlorida definitely offers a lift with flowers and colours to snow belt northern gardeners.
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Dotsie.
Geraniums in full bloom are just gorgeous...
ReplyDeleteI love that quote. I enjoy the first flowers of spring so much. Finally some bright colours appear and even the dandelions are welcome here on the farm!
ReplyDeleteWhat a show geraniums provide - the pinks and reds are such a joy to have in pots and they just go on and on all summer - they certainly earn their keep!
ReplyDeleteI love your hydrangea header Dotsie - I must get a pink hydrangea next Spring.
My two old white ones have turned a dark plumb pink now it's Autumn here - still quite lovely to pick!
Enjoy your Spring!
I love the bright red blooms! We have violas blooming in our flower bed right now. And we're getting a nice shower this afternoon. Enjoy your week! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and charming I have about another full week, to 10 days and I shall purchase my plants for the season~
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mosaics. I love geraniums in all colours and grow them each year. They can be planted earlier than a lot of other flowers here and I think their blossoms are so lovely. xx
ReplyDeleteThis looks so cheerful!
ReplyDeleteOoh...beautiful...love both geraniums and impatiens. It's alway such a thrill to see the new flowers in the spring, isn't it? Hope you are having a good Tuesday, Dotsie!
