2014

Digital photos are great, especially when they help us remember the past year.
The above show somewhat randomly the year that was:
an abundance of snow, times with good friends near and far, travels locally and far
from home, our mentoring gatherings, birthdays, grandchildren, my knee surgery,
and the youngest grandchild's delight at Christmas.
Grateful to God and looking forward with anticipation to all the new year holds.

  1. They are aren't they! It's getting harder to keep up my scrapbook photo albums because digital is so much better. That's what I'm putting off right now by being on the computer! Have a wonderful, wonderful New Year!

  7. A great way to document the year. I'm glad I take and save most pictures as they are like a diary for me. I note things on some 'just for the record'. Wishing you and yours a new year filled with God's blessings.

You have put together a great representation of your year! Isn't it good to reflect on His gifts? (Even those that were challenges?)

  10. Nice mosaic reminders. I hope your knee is recovering nicely. These things often take longer than we expect, but hang in there. Have a blessed Lord's Day.

  11. I'm always thankful to review the year, as it is so easy to forget the many blessings that we receive, and just the time we've had together as a family. I'll need to try to put together a year end post. We've had quite the year!

May 2015 be a year of great blessing for you Dotsie! I've enjoyed becoming friends this year.

  19. I like the one huge mosaic you created Dotsie. It has representation from many aspects of your year all together which will serve as a great digital journal entry. Your knee will always be a reminder of 2014 and I hope it is working well now to carry you into a new year of adventures.
Thank you for being a regular contributor to Mosaic Monday, the transition of taking over was made easier with friends such as you by my side.
    Best wishes for 2015!

  20. Beautiful mosaic, Dotsie! I love a picture mosaic that shows such a variety of life events as this. The last picture is the sweetest (beyond words) -- it's magical like a greeting card. Call me crazy, but I love your snow pictures. :) I'm back to catch up on my visits to everyone. I spent two whole days visiting before Christmas and had to stop for the holiday. After that, I've just been worn slap out (just got up from a two-hour nap). I hope you have a beautiful and blessed Christmas, Dotsie, and it looks like you certainly did.

    Hugs and joy,

    Denise

  23. Sorry to hear that you are under the weather. No fun! Hope that it doesn't last long; in fact, prayers that you are already feeling much better. Of all these great photos that tell your 2014 story, I keep going back to the sweet faces. I think that you probably do, too.

  24. Wonderful photos as a reminder of 2014...I'm with you on the digital photo thing. I run across boxes of old ohotos every now and then and what amess they usually are. One day, I will scan every one I can find and do away with those boxes...well, maybe I'll get around to it...lol! May your 2015 be full of blessings, friend!

  28. Happy New Year to you! I wanted to reach out to each of you, and say thank you for giving me such a beautiful friendship across many miles. It has been a difficult month for me. If I sit to use the desktop, within a minute, or two the nerve compression pain begins. If I lie down, and prop up my laptop, which is very slow to run, as I am doing now, I have pain relief. Thus said, I am going to copy and paste this message to you wonderful people who encourage me to keep moving forward in this amazing blog world, otherwise, I would not be able to greet each of you at this time. I cannot tell you enough, what having you as friends has done for me...just wonderful blessings! Hugs from afar~ Mary
